The following notes relating to the application of vacuum to composites are our observations & suggestions arising from our involvement in the vacuum applications in composites since 1986.  Please note that we are vacuum engineers, not hands-on laminators, resin chemists or laminate designers.  While we hope that our notes contribute to the overall understanding of the vacuum processes in composites, we stress that our experience has been very much focused on the vacuum aspect.  In reading our notes, if you think we’ve stepped outside our knowledge zone, please let us know!
