Vacmobiles Vacuum Pump System Service Instructions

Vacmobile vacuum systems and resin traps are simple and robust units and either need little service or are user serviceable.  As standard, our machines and resin traps are supplied with spare parts kits for items which may need service.  The rotary vane vacuum pumps used in our systems are high quality pumps purchased from reputable suppliers.

Vacuum pumps do need routine service!

Even though our pumps are the best of their type currently available, as with all rotary vane vacuum pump systems they must be serviced on a regular basis to ensure reliable operation and a long operating life. The minimum service requirement is an oil change every 500 running hours, or whenever the oil noticeably discolours – whichever happens first.  At every service, dust should also be blown from the external surfaces of the pump and motor.

The parts needing service are easily accessible and a routine service can usually be accomplished in less than 10 minutes.
